Kent must be answering the phone at work in his sleep because I just heard him say "sporting goods." LOL I love listening to him ramble in his sleep. Autumn's already doing it too, but of course hers is total gibberish.

The weirdness continues here. Autumn's rainforest thingy was on the other day when I came home from seeing BJ in the hospital, and nobody had been in the room for at least a half hour. Kent and I talked about it, and he broke out his ghost hunting equipment. We have a EMF detector and a digital temperature gauge. So he scopes out Autumn's room. Nothing out of the ordinary really.
Except her dreamcatcher. She seemed to be having nightmares a while back, so we took his dreamcatcher and hung it above her bed. When we waved the EMF over it, the needle jumped. It didn't stay up or anything, but it jumped. Every time we brought it close. The temperature went up five or six degrees too. It was the craziest shit. We did all the debunking we could too, and we couldn't explain it. Kent said, "I think we caught something." lol
Wild.
We both heard meowing in the kitchen too, and all three of our cats were asleep in the living room. I so want to set up a video camera and film the back part of the house, but he's hesitant to do so. He's afraid of stirring it up and making it worse. I just want to see what we catch. That kind of thing fascinates me. I love the ghost in the pantry movies on YouTube.
I have more pictures of Autumn, but I'm too lazy to post them right now. I didn't get any on Wednesday because our power was out and we spent most of the day at Mom's then she spent the night there.
No work for me today. Huzzah!

Work days suck. I can't believe people are STILL shopping. For a bunch of fuckers who complain about everything costing so much, they sure do like to spend. I'm guilty for spending, but I don't bitch about the cost. It's pointless.
I has the Edge DVD set. Yay! I pouted and looked as cute as possible in order to get it, lol! It's not like I don't have my own money or anything. I'm so lame. I shall watch it Monday-ish. Uh, if I can find it. I don't know what he did with it or my phone card. Crap. That's important. I have to find the VH1 schedule for tomorrow, Rock of Love Bus AND Charm School reunion are on. I love watching that shit in the morning before it "officially" premieres.
I don't really have much to talk about. I have two friends expecting their first child, my best friend from high school and a good friend I work with. I'm still weirded out by people that are my age having kids. I don't know why either. Especially since I have one.
Speaking of which... ( On with the show! )

First off,
stepharoony, thank you so much for the journal. I received it a couple of weeks ago, but I'm such a slacker that I haven't written anywhere to say so. I apologize for that, it's really kind of rude of me. =\ But thank you, it's awesome! =D
My New Year's Eve was lame. Autumn stayed with Mom per usual. So what did Kent and I do, being the party animals we are? Slept. We went to bed at 11 and totally slept through midnight. I was kind of bummed that we did, which is strange for me considering that I don't normally care. I just aggravated by always sitting at home and doing nothing. I think it tends to feed my depression, even though at times I get completely anxious over leaving home. I can't win, yo.
I'm working on a list of goals for myself. I hesitate to call them resolutions though, but I guess essentially that's what they are. I just feel like if I make a few big goals for the year, then give myself a few minor ones for the day, then I feel more accomplished thus feel better about myself. I've had this brewing for a while but lacked motivation. I'm horrible, lol! I have to fix this. Anyway, my big goals are-
♥ Take at least one picture of Autumn every day.
-This was something I wish now I had started the day she was born, but the idea didn't occur to me until recently. It just would have been nice to stick them in a flipbook and see how she's changed day to day. So I'm starting today. Right now, I have a photobucket set up for it. I considered a journal, but that's up in the air right now.
♥ Drink more water and/or non-soda beverage.
-I drink entirely too much Pepsi, flat out. It's so tasty, but I have to cut down on the reals. Ultimately I hope to cut myself down to two a day.
♥ Go outside more.
-Seriously. I stay indoors constantly. It's kind of ridiculous. Right now it's cold and that tends to put me off the outside thing, but I have no excuse when it's nice.
That's all I have so far. There's more I'd like to do, but a little bit at a time, yeah?
Hope everybody had a fantastic Christmas/whatever you may celebrate and New Year's.

So my computer is out of commission via power supply issues, but HP tells me since it's under warranty that it can be repaired for free. SWEET. Now I need to figure out how to let them know I need the box for such. I'm so excited by this, obviously. Otherwise I was going to be out (...or I guess Kent would have been out) 70+ bucks for the replacement part. For once I had all of my personal stuff saved to my external hard drive. Hurrah. I hope there's no CDs in the drive. ...What the hell is my user name again? Crap.
I'm on vacation for the next two weekends. I love staying home and still getting paid, it rocks. I wish I could do this all of the time. Truthfully I wish I was crafty and could make some extra dough selling my wares. Maybe I need to practice more at things, how else would I improve? I made Autumn a dreamcatcher that turned out okay, only I was having issues tying knots. I don't know if I'm just retarded or this is some medical issue. I don't know which would be worse, lol!
My best friend from high school's dad died, his wake is tonight. And I don't want to go. =\ But I know that I should and I'm going to, I'm just not feeling up to it. He was the nicest guy, her whole family was always awesome to me. I ordered flowers and had them sent to the funeral home with a knickknack that holds a candle.
I really need to work on my laundry. Cripes I'm lazy.
What are couples supposed to talk about exactly? Kent says we never talk, but I'm not sure what kind of conversation we're supposed to be having. I mean I'm perfectly capable of rambling on about the goofy shit that I do, but he never seems particularly interested in it. He isn't a big talker. So... then what? Kenny and I were talking about this, he said he and his girlfriend never talk either. They don't have a lot of common, but they get along pretty well. He said that he was envious of Sam because Sam and Tiff have A LOT in common, but I had to point out that they also fight 24/7. You can't have it all?
We've been playing Monopoly. I hate this game simply because I suck at it. Royally. I try to play safe, and it ends up biting me in the ass. Maybe I need to take lessons from Kent who kicks me ass every time we play. LOL I want The Game of Life: Twists and Turns. And Risk. I always thought it would be boring, but after Kent explained it to me, I want to try it. Any other good board games? Something that requires a bit of strategy? I like trivia games, but Kent not so much.
I've been playing Carcassonne on the XBox, and I love this game. I wish there was a way to up the amount of pieces you get. I enjoy building these goofy cities.
Kent's home and no Life. Boo!

Today is Autumn's four month well baby appointment, or whatever it's called. And I am not looking forward to it simply because there are shots in her immediate future. Which means there is crying in mine. I'm not particularly crazy about standing there while they jab my baby with needles. =\
OMG SHE FELL INTO THE FLOOR SATURDAY. Well, she launched herself into the floor. I told her to stop kicking me then I had to be parent of the year and fall asleep. I heard THWUMP and looked down, there she was on a pile of dirty clothes, lol! She had pushed herself off of me and right over the side of the bed to the floor. I know she didn't roll based on the position she landed in. She was fine the moment we picked her up and proceeded to LAUGH at me while I sobbed hysterically. You know, because CPS has an alarm that goes off when your kid hits the ground and immediately dispatches somebody to take them away.
I was without power for around 24 hours Sunday night/Monday. We stayed with Mom, and I was actually kind of sad the power came back on. I think Kent noticed too. What is the world coming to? I actually enjoyed spending time with my family? WTF, yo? But yes, we are home now, and my fridge is quite bare. If Autumn isn't insane by the end of the appointment, I'm going to attempt grocery shopping.
We have two new kittens, and they make me crazy. I had to get up at 1 a.m. to beat Silent Bob for his insanity. First, he jumped on me and gouged me with his claws, which prompted a curse from me, which woke Kent up. Then he pulled the Wii bar off the TV AGAIN. Then he got his claws stuck in the baby's bath cradle and was dragging it across the bathroom. -_- It never stops, I swear. It's like having three more kids. The little one, Jay, is so whiny too. I think he tattles on the other two, I'm just not fluent in Kitteh.
Boys are so weird. Kent's been all stressed due to work and whatnot and was in search of some quiet alone time. However, we had vehicle issues over the weekend, and neither wanted to leave the other with no means of transportation so we were home alone together. The baby was at his mom's, he was on the laptop so I came in the bedroom to get on my own computer. I soon reached the end of the internet though and just went on to bed. I probably wasn't gone 20 minutes, and he came in here, "Where did you gooooooooo?" He thought I was mad at him, lol! Sigh. I tried to be obliging!
I probably should get ready and get the baby dressed. She went from sleeping in a sleeper and onesie to a sleeper to just a onesie to just a diaper. It's gloriously tacky, but she enjoys it.
ETA: Salmoned again! LOL!

I have my first funny kid story.
Kent bought Autumn this big ass plush from Kung Fu Panda. It's obviously the panda, struck in this flying kick pose. Well, it was love at first site amazingly. She loves this thing, she just stares at it and smiles and laughs. Kent was holding her the other day, and she lost her balance and fell backwards - he caught her before she got far though. I guess it freaked her out because she whined and pouted (cutest fucking pout ever, I swear). He said to her, "You stop that or I'll punch the panda." Her response?
"AAAAAA-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Immediate tears and wailing. OMG, it was too perfect. I laughed until I was crying. Kent freaked! and promised he wouldn't hurt the poor panda. It was hilarious.
... *DIES* He's talking in his sleep.
"You didn't like the other teddy?"
"...What teddy, honey?"
"I don't know. ... You're pretty."
Thank God my little family is entertaining.

I'm still alive, really. I read every day, I just never actually post.
Turning 25 was most excellent yesterday. I did not partake in the alcohol as I originally thought I would, but the older I get, the less I care to drink. That fascination started waning at about 18 and half. You can't forget that half.
But yes, birthday! There was much cake to be had. Much. Because I got two! Mom and Rich bought me one, and then the boy came in with the girliest cake imaginable. It was white with pink roses and writing, sparkles, and butterfly decorations. He really does adore me. I haven't tried any of it yet, but I do believe he cut it today to take Ben a piece. Ben was kind enough to switch shifts with him so he could spend the evening with me, so he deserves cake! I'm hungry now, so I'll probably be helping myself to some very soon.
There was also most excellent Texas Steakhouse food. My favorite chicken tenders were delicious as usual, along with the cheese fries, salad, and rolls. I should have worn fat pants so I could have eaten more. I really would like to have one of those Hershey brownie things again. They did not sing to me though, which is a relief. That experience is only necessary once in one's life.
We shopped afterwards. I always have to go to Toys R Us, you know. I found my long-sought-after Christian Cage figure, the one with the suit. The WWE really missed the boat with that one. I also bought a 400 page Hello Kitty coloring book. ^^; Kent gave me a box of 120 crayons for Valentine's, so now I have even more reason to use them. From there, we hit up Books a Million. I've recently gotten back into reading, but I lack anything to read. I should go to Dad's and get all of my books. But they did not have Son of Rosemary (I had ordered it from Amazon, and they refunded my money) unfortunately. I bought three InuYasha mangas though and a book for the boy. He tried to protest, but I insisted until he finally showed me the one he wanted. He was short on funds (this was the day before payday), and I refused to let him go home empty-handed. He would have bought my books for me had it been the other way around. Besides, what good is birthday money if you don't spend it gleefully?
I've already read the first InuYasha book. I'm trying not to tear through them so quickly, but once I start reading, it's hard to stop. That's why I finished Rosemary's Baby in two days.
Beyond the stuff I bought for myself, Kent gave me the rad shoes I was eyeing. He pays attention at the strangest times, I swear. And BJ bought She-Ra: Season 1 Volume 1 for me!! I'm about to pop the first disc in and bask in my 80s cartoon love.
Four days off from work (one with pay, no less) is also an excellent birthday present.

Jacked from myspace.
1. The phone rings; who do you want it to be?
I'd rather the phone didn't ring it all, truthfully. If it does, I hope it's the boy, asking me what I want to eat for dinner. lol
2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
I either push it in the buggy corral outside or leave it at the cash register for the next customer (if you've ever shop at Wal*mart, you know that the cashiers/customers load the bagged groceries into an empty cart, then the customer's cart is used for the next person in line).
3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
A talker, mostly. Unless I'm in a mood or really aren't comfortable.
4. Do you take compliments well?
Not really? Sometimes I can smile and say 'thank you,' but lately I've been all, whatever. lol
5. Do you play Sudoku?
I do, but I'm really bad at it.
6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
For a day or two, but after that probably not. I'm not an outdoors kind of girl and I'm terrified of snakes.
7. Do you like to ride horses?
I did the times I've rode.
8. Did you ever go to camp as a kid?
No.
9. What was your favorite game as a kid?
Whatever we could play that required us to use our imagination. We'd play school, restaurant, Weebles, games in the pool. As long as we were making up storylines and pretending, I was happy.
10. If a sexy person was pursuing you what would you do?
*Right now*? Turn them down, because I have a pretty nifty guy I'd like to hang onto. Unless it was Christian, then I'd have to live with the guilt.
12. Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you?
Sure. I'm not a very religious person anyway, although I wouldn't want their beliefs shoved on me.
13. Do you like to pursue or be pursued?
Either/or, I don't care.
14. Use three words to describe yourself?
Silly, moody, lazy. lol
15. Do any songs make you cry?
For some reason that damned "Austin" song makes me cry. What a sap.
16. Are you continuing your education?
Not currently, no.
17. Do you know how to shoot a gun?
I have shot a gun, but I was supervised by professionals. I doubt I could do it all on my own at first.
18. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed?
The cat.
19. How often do you read books?
I haven't read anything in a long time, and I'm severely disappointed in myself, as I used to read rather often.
20. Do you think more about the past, present or future?
The present. The past mostly sucks, and my future's always changing.
21. What is your favorite children's book?
The Pokey Little Puppy.
22. What color are your eyes?
Brown.
23. How tall are you?
5'4"
24. Where is your dream house located?
I don't know, I haven't really found one.
27. Have you ever taken pictures in a photo booth?
Sure, but it's been years.
28. When was the last time you were at Olive Garden?
When BJ and I went Christmas shopping back in December. They did not lose my credit card this time, as the meal was on them.
30. Where was the furthest place you traveled today?
The kitchen.
32. Do you like mustard?
Only if it's honey mustard.
33. Do you prefer to sleep or eat?
OMG, I love both equally!

New Year survey:
1. Will you be looking for a new job?
I always look for a new job. If this restaurant venture works, I'll get one.
2. Will you be looking for a new relationship?
Unless things go horribly, horribly bad, then no. Pretend!Kent's a pretty awesome guy. Anybody who's willing to get up out of a dead sleep, come all the way to your house, just to rub your back and help you fall asleep when you're feeling bad, is A-OK with me.
3. New house?
God, I hope so. There's no hope for this one.
4. What will you do different in '07?
Chances are nothing, but I'm hoping for that change in profession.
5. New Years resolution?
I never make them because I'm way too lazy to keep them.
6. What will you not be doing in '07
Eating tomatoes? Who's to say?
7. Any trips planned?
Nothing solid, but there are always potential Christian/Chris Jericho stalking trips on schedule. It's just a matter of them coming close enough to book such. Hopefully there's more Buckcherry in my future too!
8. Wedding plans?
Kent doesn't want to get married, I don't want to get married, so I seriously doubt it.
9. Major things on your calendar?
I don't even own a calendar!
10. What can't you wait for?
Chris Jericho, hot and cheap!
11. What would you like to be different?
I'm all for being thinner, having the new job, and possibly getting out of this house. Apparently a whole overhaul.
12. What about yourself will you be changing?
Probably nothing. lol
13. What happened in 06 that you didn't think would ever happen?
Meeting Christian. That was hot. Thank God he quit the WWE; he made stalking so much easier. And hooking with Kent. I never attract guys that are worth anything. It's about time my magnet started working right!
14. Will you be nicer to the people you care about?
I *am* nice to the people I care about...it's just unfortunate that this is such a very, very small percentage of the population. - I'm leaving Cindy's answer. That pretty much sums it up.
15. Will you dress differently this year then you did in 06?
Differently than what? I wear jeans and t-shirts.
16. Will you start or quit drinking?
Neither? I don't really drink now, but when the occasion arises, then I do. But it's rare.
17. Will you better your relationship with your family?
Nah, I'm good. The less time spent with them, the better.
18. Will you do charity work?
I haven't thus far in life, but never say never.

If a reason arises, yes.
20. Will you be nice to people you don't know?

21. Do you expect 07 to be a good year for you?
Let's hope so. '06 from about April on was pretty sweet.
22. How much did you change from this time last year till now?
Well, I lost that huge tumor. I moved out of my dad's house, got a car, and more of a life. So a lot apparently.
23. Do you plan on having a child?
Perish the thought. >.< I don't need children, I have to be taken care of, as it is!
24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
I hope so! I've got some pretty awesome friends, I'd kinda like to hang on to them.
25. Major lifestyle changes?
No, I'm good! I should probably clean more, but we'll see. If I had a place I actually cared about, I'd be a little more neat. I swear!
26. Will you be moving?
Probably not, but one can always hope.
27. What will you make sure doesn't happen in 07 that happened in 06?
The fucking sneaky Canuck getting away without a photo! Bastard.
28. What are your New Years Eve plans?
Haven't heard yet, although Lumpy did invite Kent and I to party with him. I don't think I'm hardcore party girl enough to hang with Eric, but I do enjoy hanging out with him!
29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
I assume the boy.
30. One wish for 07?
Hot Canadians and a new place to live/job!
